Emails from My Filipino Friend

Quotation of the day:
"Make the beef into chicken! Then feed it to me..."

I just got back from shopping. I didn't buy much, just a pair of shoes and a new cardigan. But still, walking around seeing all the pretty clothes on the shelves induces such a tranquil feeling. Even walking through the furniture department makes me happy =D.
So, why random shopping after school?
Today was such a stressful day. The grade I received for Psychology made me whimper so much, even Malini couldn't make me laugh.
I don't want to go into that, but listening to Adam and Pru getting so involved with politics are lunch lightened my mood so much. Sometimes they got so heated up, they spoke so fast and I swear nobody understood them apart from the pair of them.

After school I received a phonecall from Sam in Wales. He just went to the beach and picked up a shell for me. It better be pretty! But he said it is so it's okay, I trust him. Then I told him about my dreadful day. It really was rather dreadful.

Oh yes, when I came back from shopping I found a pretty package from Vicky waiting for me to open =D!

Any Graveneys remember Emma Bell?
She left at the end of Year 9, going back to the Philippines to study. She was my best friend for the first three years of secondary school, and when she left it was very sad, I remember it exactly. All of the D girls hugging together and everyone bidding her their private farewell with their own message. After she left, some people completely forgot about her, some people remember her vaguely, some people did not accept her departure well. And most of us really forgot about Emma until her picture came up next to mine in the yearbook. I was quite okay about her departure; I guess I wasn't so caught up in people leaving my life like how I am caught up about it now.
We have kept in contact these three years after her departure through emails. Sometimes she would disappear for a while, and sometimes I would. But we always manage to get back on track and type essays after essays of what's been happening when we were away from the emailing. Pictures were also exchanged regularly; she often attaches photographs of the places she hang out and her friends, and I attach pictures of London, Graveney and friends.
Yesterday she asked me,
"Where are all of D? None of them are in your photos!"
Then I realised, I don't talk to that many people from D anymore. Bethan, Amal, Matt, Osman, sometimes Luke... It is a shame, but really, there are some people in D that are really easy to dislike.
So yesterday I attached some photographs of old classmates ... 70% of them featured Ben oh my lord, it reminded me of how whenever he sees a camera around the area, he sprints to be in front of the lens. In fact, no-one in D is particularly camera-shy, so I have a fair amount of pictures of my classmates. I think the most camera-shy person is Bethan, which just doesn't make sense because she's a model.

Louisa drew my eyes with liquid liner today. It was unsuccessful because my I have a "difficult eye shape", so I better stick to pencil. Shame though, liquid is supposedly easier and looks better.

I am going to revise for Psychology now, and read some Oscar Wilde.
Goodnight, chickens!

Ohhhohhhoh, I have found my shoulderbag, so I am quite happy. Although, my unhappiness about my education cancels it out. So I am neutral. No, really, I'm bending towards the unhappy side, but it's okay =D.

Me: I haven't got chicken pox yet...
Malini: *gasp* Really! It's dangerous if you get it when you're older you know...
Me: What! Will I die?!
Mr Angel: It's dangerous, but no, you won't die.
Me: Oh that's okay; as long as I don't die then everything's fine.
